Samsung's Two Newly Launched Smartphone’s Galaxy M30s v/s A50s

South Korean consumer electronics giant Samsung has launched two new handsets that is Samsung Galaxy  M30s and Galaxy A50s. With launch of these two new smart phones Samsung has expanded its mid-range portfolio in the country. This is the second big launch in the mid range segment by Samsung in India.

 Samsung Galaxy M30s

Samsung Galaxy M-Series is targeting everyone. Galaxy M30s is an upgradation of Galaxy M30.

Features of M30s:

1. Body: Polycarbonate body with gradient color design.

2. Colors:

- Opal Black

- Sapphire Blue

- Pearl White

3. Camera:

 Triple camera is setup in device with

(a) Back Camera:

-  48 megapixel Main camera

-  8 megapixel ultra wide lens with 123˚ field of view with f/2.0 aperture

-  5 megapixel depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture

(b) Front Camera (Selfie):

For Selfie lovers there is 16 megapixel sensor in the front.

4. Fingerprint Sensor: 

The back houses a fingerprint sensor that is optimally placed and Samsung branding below it.

5. Display: 

6.4 inch FHD + Super AMOLED display.

6. Design:

(a) On the front, you will get an Infinity U-shaped design notch in the middle. The volume rockers and power button are placed on the right edge and the SIM card tray is placed on the left.

(b) M30s has a dedicated micro SD card slot of up to 512 GB and dual SIM support.

(c) For charging there is a USB type C charging port that is placed at the bottom. (15W fast charge adapter also includes in the box).

7. Processor:

Exynos 9611 octa core processor based on 10nm manufacturing process in Galaxy M30s paired with Mali G72 MP3 GPU.

8. Battery Capacity: 

Main highlight of this device is its Battery capacity that is 6000 mAh. The battery is claimed to deliver 29 hours of video play back.

9. Software: 

It runs on Samsung’s own One UI interface over the top of Android 9.0 Pie.

Samsung has launched A- Series to compete with rivals like Realme, Xiaomi, Vivo and Redmi K20 etc. Galaxy A50s is an upgraded version of Galaxy A50.

-  Prism Crush White

-  Prism Crush Violet 2

3. Camera:

My Opinion:

If we compare both these devices Galaxy M30s and Galaxy A50s then in case of performance both devices are equally good because of same processor in both the devices that is Exynos 9611…but for Selfie lovers A50s is better option because it has 32 megapixel front camera sensor as compared to M30s it has 16 megapixel front camera sensor. If we do analysis on basis of value for money then Galaxy M30s is better option…………
